Lahore’s first metro line opened in October 2020 with great success. It includes 25.4 kilometers of viaducts and 1.7 kilometers underground.

Trains on the Orange line operate with GoA2 automation smoothly. This boosts transport accessibility in Pakistan’s second-largest city effectively.

Authorities also proposed a third metro line to the airport eagerly. Named Purple, it connects the city to the international terminal.
