Contract for the production of 1024 carriage frames for 32 Vande Bharat trains

Ramkrishna Forgings Ltd, a leading manufacturer of components for automotive, agricultural, and railway engineering, announced the receipt of a major order from the consortium of BHEL and Titagarh Rail System Limited, this is reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.

The contract amount is 270 crore rupees ($32.3 million) and includes the production of 1024 carriage frames for 32 sleeper trains of Vande Bharat.
This order is part of a larger contract for the production and technical servicing of 200 Vande Bharat sleeper electric trains won by the consortium.
All trains are to be delivered to the Indian Railways by 2029, highlighting the significant role of Ramkrishna Forgings Ltd in the country’s infrastructure development.
The company is already known for its high-quality components for the railway industry, and this order reaffirms its reputation as a reliable partner in this field.
