The new center will focus on all aspects of rolling stock design. Specifically, this includes:

• Obtaining design work approvals from Indian Railways (IR);
• Supervising the design and development of subsystems by suppliers;
• Managing the implementation of TCMS (Train Control and Management System) software;
• Testing, evaluation, and certification of rolling stock.

Kinet Railway Solutions is fulfilling a contract to supply 120 Vande Bharat electric trains with sleeping cars.

In early June of this year, the head of the Vande Bharat project, Sudhanshu Mani, emphasized the need to launch “night” Vande Bharat trains on the Indian Railways network soon.

In addition to KRS, Indian company BEML and the consortium of Indian BHEL and Titagarh Rail System are also developing sleeping cars.

The new center will not only support current developments but also become a crucial link in creating innovative solutions for India’s rail transport.

Equipped with advanced facilities and technology, the center will enable KRS to accelerate the development and implementation of the latest systems and technologies for Vande Bharat trains.

Additionally, the opening of the engineering center in Hyderabad will create new jobs and contribute to the regional economy. In the long term, this will help strengthen KRS’s position in the Indian rail transport market and enhance its relationships with local partners.

The engineering center will be a cornerstone for KRS in its quest to provide high-quality and innovative solutions for the rail industry.

In collaboration with local suppliers and international partners, KRS plans to continue developing and improving its technologies to meet the growing market demands and contribute to the modernization of India’s rail infrastructure.
