Kazakhstan intends to invest $20 billion to diversify transit routes
According to the President of Kazakhstan, Kasim-Jomart Tokayev, the priority task for the country is to diversify transit and transport routes and introduce integrated logistics solutions, including the launch of new land corridors, reports Railway Supply magazine.
He promised that by 2025 Kazakhstan would invest $20 billion in integrated logistics solutions and diversification of transit routes. It is expected that due to this, transit flows from China will have to be significantly increased, which will satisfy the needs of the countries of the region.
Recall that earlier the President of Kazakhstan, Kasim-Jomart Tokayev, said that the local customs “noticed” that they were losing billions on the border with China.
At the same time, the President stressed that all this is “protected” by high-ranking officials.
