Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan want to create a joint railway enterprise

Railway administrations of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan are planning to establish a joint venture, this is reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.
This became known during an informal meeting of the presidents of the two countries, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
They want to create it to provide freight terminals at the Kazakh-Chinese border and in Uzbekistan for organizing freight transportation along the ‘China-Kazakhstan-Uzbekistan’ route.
They also want to involve the future joint venture in the development of the Trans-Afghan route.
