Kazakhstan increased its railroad engineering production by 2.4 times

During the first quarter of 2024, Kazakhstan produced railroad engineering products worth 141.3 billion tenge ($319.9 million), as reported by the Ministry of Industry, this is reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.
This is an increase of 82.4 billion tenge ($186.6 million) or 140% compared to the previous year.
Production of locomotives increased by 130% – from 10 to 23, passenger and other cars by 733% – from 6 to 50, and railroad freight platforms from 0 to 309.
