Intensive Work on Kayseri-Yerköy High-Speed Rail Tunnel
At the T7 tunnel in Himmetdede, crews are working simultaneously at both entrance and exit points. The tunnel, approximately 3 kilometers long, now has 50% of its excavation completed.
More than 2,000 workers and 1,000 vehicles operate across the route. Tunnel construction has reached 25%, showing strong coordination and high execution standards.
The exit point of the T7 tunnel lies in Kalkancık, where additional works continue nonstop. Mayor Çolakbayrakdar praised the round-the-clock dedication of the teams regardless of weather conditions.
Kayseri-Yerköy High-Speed Rail to Boost Regional Growth
The Kayseri-Yerköy High-Speed Rail will not only enhance mobility but also support Kayseri’s economic and social development. Faster access to major cities like Ankara will benefit tourism, trade, and local industry.
