The Ukrainian industrial company “Interpipe” plans to complete the certification of railway products from the global railcar building companies.

“For 2022, the railway products division faces the task of significantly increasing deliveries and expanding the product portfolio in the passenger railway products segment. In 2020-21, Interpipe successfully supplied passenger railway wheels for Deutsche Bahn high-speed trains, but now it is necessary to complete certification from other global car building companies, ” quotes Railway Supply magazine.

According to him, in order to achieve goals in the export markets, Interpipe intends to invest in increasing production capacity.

“For 2022, we have planned record investments in new projects in the amount of $77 million. <…> In the railway division, Interpipe will continue to increase its capacity for full-profile machining of wheels, and will also begin upgrading the thermal section of the wheel-rolling shop,” said the CEO of the Ukrainian manufacturer.
