Devlali will gain extra platforms, two FOBs, advanced coach examination facilities, and a sewage treatment plant. Odha will add an island platform, four FOBs, and five stabling lines, while Kherwadi will construct a new down platform and remodel its yard.

Kasbe Sukene will see extended platforms, new FOBs, and a common dispatch facility. All stations will receive upgraded amenities, including covered platforms, toilets, water tanks, and improved entry and exit points.

Indian Railways Plans Special Trains and Crowd Management

Indian Railways expects massive pilgrim turnout, so it will operate long-distance special trains to cities like Delhi, Howrah, Mumbai, and Jaipur. MEMU services will connect regional routes, while a special circuit train will link three Jyotirlingas.

To manage the crowds efficiently, officials will set up large holding areas and a centralized control center equipped with CCTV and AI-based monitoring systems. These measures aim to ensure safety and timely services during Simhastha 2027.

Out of 65 proposed projects, 33 have already been approved. Railways targets completion within two years, reinforcing its commitment to delivering safe, modern, and efficient services for millions of pilgrims.
