The Goa-based industrial conglomerate specializes in rolling stock products and operates in aerospace, defense, and renewable energy industries. By acquiring Semvac, Kineco gains access to Semvac’s extensive customer base, including major players such as Alstom, DB, SNCB, and SNCF.

Semvac, headquartered in Odense, Denmark, has supplied over 19,000 vacuum toilet systems worldwide. This acquisition enables Kineco to leverage Semvac’s established presence in the European market and expand its footprint.

“Launching our Global Rail brand at InnoTrans2022 was the first step in this journey,” said Kineco Chairman Shekhar Sardessai. “This acquisition signifies our commitment to becoming a leader in the international rail sector.”
