The Agency for Management of State Assets of Uzbekistan (AMSA) has approved five companies to participate in the auction for the privatization of the state stake in the joint-stock company “Uztemiryulcontainer”, this is reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.
Initially, six applications were submitted for the competition, but one company was excluded due to being added to the U.S. government’s sanctions list.
The remaining candidates must submit binding offers for the acquisition of the state stake by 18:00 on September 20, 2024 (Tashkent time).
A guarantee payment, amounting to 1% of the offered sum for the asset, is also required.
