In Kazakhstan, the transfer of Dosjan Temir Joly into trust management has been canceled

The Financial Monitoring Agency of Kazakhstan has succeeded in canceling the 10-year trust management agreement for the Dosjan Temir Joly company, which was initially set at 100 million tenge ($0.2 million) per year, this is reported by the railway transport news portal, Railway Supply.
The agency notes that the net profit of the enterprise for just the year 2022 amounted to 1.3 billion tenge (over $2.7 million), which was not taken into account in the initial assessment.

To recap, Dosjan Temir Joly is responsible for operating a single-track railway line “Station Shar – Ust-Kamenogorsk,” which spans 151 kilometers. It includes four stations: “Saryzhal,” “Shalabay,” “Ekasha,” and “Airtau,” as well as two junctions: Bursak and Ulan.
The Joint Stock Company Dosjan Temir Joly was established in March 2005 to implement the project for the construction and operation of the “Station Shar – Ust-Kamenogorsk” railway line in accordance with the project implementation plan approved by the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
