With the new tool, users can view scheduled works up to six weeks in advance.

The tool, available on GTR’s websites, features an interactive calendar integrated with real-time route maps.

Users can enter their travel date and see which sections will be affected by maintenance or improvement work.

Additionally, a live digital map shows where replacement buses will operate, allowing passengers to adjust their plans effectively.

The tool also includes time-of-day filtering functions. This helps passengers determine whether night trains will be more affected than daytime ones or when lines will reopen after overnight work.

Since the tool’s testing began, its usage has increased, and the maps are updated in real-time, providing current information on unscheduled disruptions.

This feature simplifies travel planning and makes information about potential delays more accessible.

GTR’s initiative aims to enhance travel quality by providing passengers with clearer and more useful information.

In the future, the company plans to continue developing the tool’s functionality, adding new helpful features.
