General Electric: $ 10 billion in credit for UZ

In accordance with the transformation plan, which Volodymyr Zelenskyy presented during his visit to the United States, Ukraine expects financing for the purchase of General Electric locomotives.
The number of locomotives has not been specified, but the total purchase amount is set at $ 10 billion, reports Railway Supply magazine citing urm.media.
The implementation program is designed until 2023. Three points from the list relate to the railway directly: – Construction of Euro gauge line from Kyiv to Odessa; – Construction of the base stations for mobile network along the railway tracks; – Supply of General Electric locomotives.

So far, it is only about the intentions of the Ukrainian side. In 2019, Ukraine received 30 General Electric locomotives.
