Freightliner Implements AI Solutions for Terminal Management
16.06.2025
AI solutions have become a key tool in modernizing the Freightliner terminal, where the implementation of a digital process automation platform has significantly improved transport management and logistics accuracy. This is reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.

Integration of Intermodal Pro with AI Solutions from Decision
U.S.-based Tideworks Technology has upgraded its Intermodal Pro system, which is in use at the Freightliner terminal—one of the UK’s leading freight operators.

Intermodal Pro is designed for real-time planning and coordination of rail transport. In the U.S., three of the six Class I railroads currently rely on this system.
In June 2025, Tideworks completed the integration of Intermodal Pro with a low-code automation platform developed by the U.S. company Decision, marking a major step in digital transformation.
AI Solutions Reduce Costs and Accelerate Logistics
The Decision platform enables the creation of business applications using artificial intelligence, including OpenAI tools such as ChatGPT. This flexibility allows operators to quickly adapt solutions to their specific logistics needs.
With enhanced API functionality, planned operation data is transferred in real time to Decision’s platform and processed based on terminal-specific parameters.
This reduces manual input, speeds up documentation workflows, and minimizes errors during transport processing. As a result, terminal throughput and overall infrastructure efficiency improve.
Freightliner is investing in digital technologies because they transform logistics into a precise, predictable, and economically efficient system.
