VTG has announced the release of a new freight car for specialized bulk cargo. This was reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.

The four-axle freight car, model Uacns P81.075D, is designed specifically for transporting cement. Additionally, it is suitable for carrying other bulk materials such as chalk, ash, and aluminum powder.

The aluminum tank body, developed by VTG, increases the payload capacity to 72.9 tons. The total volume of the car reaches 75 cubic meters, while its length between couplers measures 15.2 meters.
Advantages of the Freight Car for Specialized Bulk Cargo
Engineers selected aluminum for its unique properties, including lightness and durability. Using aluminum walls minimizes cargo sticking, simplifying the unloading process. Moreover, wall slopes at a 51° angle ensure faster material discharge. For user convenience, the car features three top hatches specifically designed for loading.

Unloading the car is also carried out through three hatches equipped with quick-release clamps. This design significantly reduces unloading time, making the car efficient at every stage of operation.
