Financial Results of Škoda Group in 2023

Škoda Group has published its financial results for 2023, this is reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.

– Revenue increased by 81% to €1.382 billion.
– EBITDA decreased by 57% to €21.8 million.
– The number of working hours increased by 16% to 5.1 million.
– Investments in R&D reached €85.5 million.
“The past year has been a period of significant changes for Škoda Group, both in the company structure and in the organization of our activities. The substantial investments we have made in our production facilities in recent years have resulted in increased production capacity and productivity. In 2023, we delivered 400 vehicles, which is 88% more than the previous year. The number of working hours increased by 16% compared to the same period last year, reaching 5.1 million,” commented Škoda Group CEO Petr Novotny.
Key achievements of Škoda Group in 2023:
– A key order for up to 200 trams for Prague, worth more than CZK 16 billion.
– A contract for night trains for VR in Finland.
– A contract to supply metro trains for Sofia.
– A contract to supply new trams for Kassel.
– Strengthening its presence in Western markets through major projects in Italy and Germany.
