Ferrexpo has approached the usual indicators of railway transportation
25.04.2022
Ferrexpo exported products by rail and via Danube ports in March, says Dmitry Khoroshun, an analyst at Concorde Capital.
It is reported by the railway magazine Railway Supply.
With the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation into the territory of Ukraine, the company announced the termination of the shipment of pellets for export, but continued to work “for storage”. Subsequently, Ferrexpo began looking for new supply chains.
According to Dmitry Khoroshun, in March the company increased exports through the ports on the Danube and by rail to 24,000 tons per day. “For comparison: in the first quarter of this year, on average, almost 30 thousand tons were exported per day. That is, the company is already close to its usual indicators,” the message says.
As previously reported, on April 13, UZ received the first ton of commercial cast iron from ArcelorMittal after a downtime.
