A decree on the design and construction of the Barda-Agdam railway line has been signed by President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, as Railway Supply magazine reports referring Haqqin. news portal.

Initially, five million manat is allocated from the presidential reserve fund for the design and construction of a 45-kilometer railway line along the Barda-Agdam line.

The decree provides the allocation of the necessary funds for the construction of the railway in the draft state budget of Azerbaijan for 2021.
