DB (Deutsche Bahn) will carry out extensive work to replace rails and switch points

In late November and early December 2023, German railways (DB) will undertake extensive work to replace rails and switch points on the high-speed line Cologne — Frankfurt-am-Main, this is reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.
The works will cover a stretch of about 20 km, including bridges and tunnels.
Ukrzaliznytsia announces a tender for 22 passenger carriages
Part of the work will be done at night, after which the line will be closed for a week from November 25 to December 2, 2023.
This will lead to the cancellation of some passenger trains and an increase in travel time by 80 minutes.
Movement of replacement buses will be organized to serve cities along the line.
