Simulated runs testing the DART Silver Line schedule started the week of April 27, covering Downtown Carrollton Station to the University of Texas at Dallas Station. Testing sessions occur Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

During this testing phase, trains stop at key stations like Downtown Carrollton, Addison, Knoll Trail, and UTD, but no passengers are permitted on board yet. Trains will sound their horns at crossings, though full service will follow quiet zone regulations.
