CRRC has signed a contract to supply 24 four-car trains for two metro lines in the Brazilian city of Belo Horizonte, this is reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.

The contract value is not disclosed. The rolling stock must be equipped with an automatic driving system.

The first train is scheduled to be put into operation in the second half of 2026.
