The volume of container freight transport along the Trans-Caspian international transport route for the first four months of 2024 amounted to 3,969 TEUs, as reported by the Kazakhstan Railways, this is reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.
This is 2,835 TEUs or 250% more than the previous year.
The volume of container shipments by rail between China and European countries via Russia during this period reached 122,395 TEUs.
This is 33,703 TEUs or 38% more than the previous year.
