The Cabinet of Ministers has approved the draft decree of the President to enact the decision of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine (NSDCU) on the forced confiscation of property belonging to the aggressor state and its residents, as reported by the railway portal Railway Supply.

Confiscation of Russian Railway Wagons

It is proposed, among other things, to confiscate approximately 500 railway wagons, semi-wagons, platforms, tanks, and more, an oil-carrying tanker, over 300 freight and passenger vehicles, tanker trucks, construction machinery, and aviation engines.

Additionally, 7 MiG-25 aircraft of the Russian Federation in non-working condition will be confiscated, which will be used as spare parts for Ukrainian combat aircraft.

As a reminder, the decision on forced confiscation is made by the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine and is put into effect by the President’s decree. The draft of the corresponding decision is being developed by the government.
