The two delayed shows, which were originally scheduled for Sept. 7 and 8, are now set for Sept. 6, and 12. In the mean time the shows on August 30 / August 31 and September 3 / September 4 will take place as scheduled.
Coldplay Maintains Record-Breaking Wembley Run
These changes will not affect Coldplay’s record-breaking run of 10 shows at Wembley Stadium this summer. It overtakes records held by Taylor Swift and Take That, who both played eight shows in one year.
The band have also announced 10% from tickets sales for the Wembley gigs will go to support the Music Venue Trust and support grassroots venues and emerging artists around the UK to ensure the live music industry is alive and well.
Band Statement on Fan Concerns and Refund Policy
The band said in a statement that it regretted the schedule changes, which it said had been beyond its control. They have assured fans that existing tickets are still valid for the new dates, with full refunds available to anyone unable to make the gigs.
Refund requests must be made by noon on Sept. 2, with returned tickets going back on sale through Ticketmaster at 11 a.m. on Sept. 3.
