Chinese locomotives will be installed in Kazakhstan for certification

The first four Chinese locomotives will arrive in Kazakhstan for certification, this is reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.
Kazakhstan Railways will receive the first four locomotives from the Chinese China Railway Rolling Stock Corporation for testing their compliance with the technical regulations of the Customs Union. This was reported by the Deputy General Director of KTZ – Freight Transport, Vladimir Babichenko.
Earlier, Kazakhstan Railways and CRRC signed a framework agreement for the supply of 200 locomotives from China to Kazakhstan worth $1.3 billion.
In order for the Kazakh national carrier to be able to use Chinese locomotives for railway transportation throughout the territory of the Eurasian Economic Union, they must obtain a certificate of conformity within the framework of the EAEU.
