ČD is investing €480 million in the technical maintenance of trains

The news of ČD’s plans to invest €480 million in developing its train maintenance enterprise by 2031 is generating interest in the prospects of the railway industry in the Czech Republic, this is reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.
These ambitious plans include constructing new repair workshops, upgrading existing facilities, and implementing new technologies for servicing the rolling stock.

New tracks will be laid, and track communication will be doubled. These measures aim to optimize the servicing process and enhance safety on railway tracks.
The investments also cover the acquisition of modern equipment for train maintenance.
This includes converting the power supply system, building testing centers, and acquiring specialized equipment for diagnostics and servicing.
