The 43-meter tram accommodates 301 passengers, offering 70 seats and three wheelchair spaces. Engineers equipped it with a smart, energy-efficient climate control system for comfort.

Manufacturers claim this innovative technology debuts uniquely in this model, enhancing sustainability. Cameroonian artist Barthélémy Toguo designed its striking livery, adding cultural flair.

In 2022, CAF secured a $237.44 million contract to supply 77 trams, excluding taxes. This deal averages $3.07 million per unit, boosting the company’s production capacity.

Among these, 30 trams will replace Alstom’s aging Citadis 401 models from 2000. The CAF factory in Bagnères-de-Bigorre, France, targets two trams monthly.
