Brightline West high-speed rail aims to link Southern California and Las Vegas by 2028 with 200-mph electric trains, reducing travel time dramatically and creating a sustainable transportation solution. This is reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.

Construction is progressing on the $10–12 billion project covering 218 miles from Las Vegas to Rancho Cucamonga, with a stop in Victor Valley. Passengers will complete the journey in about two hours and ten minutes, significantly faster than driving.
