THEE Group, an Indigenous-owned company, specializes in railway track and civil maintenance services. It has gained recognition across Queensland and New South Wales for delivering high-quality projects.

Finding qualified regional suppliers can be difficult, but THEE Group showcases the expertise available locally. Their team will handle preventive and corrective maintenance along the railway corridor.

The Carmichael Rail Network connects Bravus Mining and Resources’ Carmichael Mine to Aurizon’s Newlands Rail System. This contract ensures ongoing reliability and efficiency of railway operations.

Bowen Rail Company Invests in Local Workforce

Doug James, THEE Group’s Queensland Delivery Manager, expressed enthusiasm about contributing to regional growth. His company operates from Gracemere and has additional offices in southeast Queensland and New South Wales.

As part of the contract, THEE Group will establish a dedicated team in Bowen. When necessary, workforce capacity will expand up to 40 employees to meet project demands.

Since 2020, Bowen Rail Company has prioritized working with local businesses, fostering economic development. Lane emphasized that investing in regional talent strengthens both industry and community growth.

Local spending fuels multiple sectors beyond rail maintenance, including hospitality, retail, and service industries. Workers rely on businesses like hardware stores, mechanics, and restaurants for essential services.
