Shivamogga, located about 300 kilometers from Bengaluru, gained an airport in 2023. Now, the high-speed rail link will make the city even more accessible for commuters and tourists.

Once launched, this line will connect Bengaluru with seven key cities—Mysuru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Ernakulam, Dharwad, Belagavi, and Coimbatore—via Vande Bharat services.

This rapid expansion reflects Indian Railways’ focus on modernizing infrastructure and providing faster, more comfortable travel experiences across the region.
