Bids Submitted for Electrification Design Contract
Four firms—Ardanuy India Pvt. Ltd., DB Engineering and Consulting GmbH, Leap Infraasys Pvt. Ltd., and SYSTRA MVA Consulting (India) Pvt. Ltd.—are competing for the role. Some may collaborate through joint ventures.

Scope of Work Includes Advanced Infrastructure Design
The Detailed Design Consultant (DDC) contract involves designing essential infrastructure for Bangalore Metro Phase 3. This includes traction substations, auxiliary substations, power cables, a 750V DC third rail system, and SCADA technology.
Bangalore Metro Expands with New Corridors
Phase 3 includes two new corridors powered by a 750V DC third rail system. The first, the Orange Line, spans 32.15 km from Kempapura to JP Nagar 4th Phase with 22 stations. The second corridor, from Kadabagare to Hosahalli, stretches 12.5 km and features nine stations.
Technical and Financial Evaluations Underway
The technical bids are being evaluated to ensure compliance with the tender’s requirements. Following this, the financial bids will be assessed, with the lowest bidder awarded the contract.
