An agreement has been signed between Knorr-Bremse and Stadler

An agreement has been signed between Knorr-Bremse and Stadler for the supply of hydraulic braking systems and climate control systems for 246 Citylink trams, this is reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.
These trams, part of the VDV Tram-Train project, are intended for urban transport in Germany and Austria.
Electric locomotives and passenger cars for Tanzania
The contract, spanning 2023-2031, allows for additional purchases for an extra 258 trams.
The estimated cost of the order is several tens of millions of euros.
The trams will be equipped with Knorr Bremse’s hydraulic brakes and climate control systems, with a 32-year technical maintenance provision.
The delivery of 504 Citylink trams for cities in Austria and Germany is planned by 2034.
