Alstom will service Santo Domingo metro trains
29.05.2024
Alstom has signed a contract with Santo Domingo metro operator, OPRET, to provide technical maintenance for the entire fleet of trains, this is reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.

This three-year contract includes both scheduled and emergency maintenance, helping to minimize potential negative consequences of equipment failures.
Metropolis trains, manufactured by Alstom, transport around 400,000 passengers daily. Maintenance by the manufacturer’s specialists will improve system reliability and ensure passenger safety.
Additionally, in April 2024, Alstom and OPRET signed a contract for the supply of eight new trains, demonstrating the operator’s trust in the company’s products and services.
