The Romanian Court of Appeals has ordered the country’s railway reform authority (ARF) to reassess the proposals for the competition to supply up to 29 trains, this is reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.

Alstom vs Pesa: Who will win the tender for the supply of trains?

Last November, the National Council for Complaints rejected Alstom’s appeal against the procurement, opting to contract with Pesa.

However, following a new appeal, the court sided with Alstom.

According to Rynek Kolejowy, a representative of Pesa, the parties have not yet received a written justification for the court’s decision.
