Alstom sold Talent 3 Plus trains to British companies Rock Rail and ABRDN Core Infrastructure. These electric trains will feature the advanced ETCS-2 system, enhancing their efficiency and operational safety. This was reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.

Initially, Austrian carrier OBB ordered 46 Talent 3 Plus trains between 2016 and 2018 for their network. However, they canceled the contract in 2021 due to delays in certification processes. In 2022, Alstom sold intellectual property rights for the Talent platform to CAF, but retained the trains.
