What did Trump do for the U.S. railway industry during his presidency?

Each five-car train can carry up to 656 passengers, including 202 standard seats and seven foldable seats, providing added seating flexibility. The trains focus on accessibility, with designated areas for wheelchairs, strollers, and bicycles, ensuring a comfortable journey for all passengers.

Alstom has introduced trains focused on passenger comfort and convenience

To enhance passenger convenience, each train includes dedicated luggage storage areas, so travelers can secure their bags. This feature is particularly helpful for those traveling with more baggage, making the journey easier.

Each train will feature 20 screens with journey information and nine screens displaying flight schedules, so passengers can stay informed throughout their trip. Operating at a top speed of 120 km/h, these trains aim to reduce travel times significantly.

Alstom has introduced advanced technology and design for future travel

The contract for supplying and maintaining ten of these trains over 15 years was signed between Alstom and Catalonia’s FGC in 2022 for a total of €177 million. This project is expected to boost transport infrastructure in the region, improving convenience for residents and tourists.

Alstom is producing the trains at its factory in Santa Perpètua de Mogoda, Spain, highlighting the value of local manufacturing and supporting the regional economy.
