Delivery the third-generation Traxx locomotives

These multisystem machines will be utilized on railways in several European countries, including Poland, Germany, Belgium, and others.

The record for the autonomous range of the Stadler hydrogen train has been entered into the Guinness World Records

The production of the locomotives will be split between Alstom’s factories in Poland and Germany, highlighting the scale of the project.

Features of the new Traxx include extended maintenance intervals, speeds of up to 160 km/h, and Alstom’s proprietary Onvia signaling system.

These locomotives also feature a “last mile” function, making them an ideal choice for servicing unelectrified terminals and ports.

CLIP Intermodal, which owns its own railway line in Sławków, is expanding its wagon fleet and requires additional locomotives for servicing.

This will enable the company to manage its resources more efficiently and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

The new locomotives will also enable CLIP Intermodal to meet the growing demand for intermodal transport services.

The collaboration between Alstom and CLIP Intermodal reflects a growing interest in efficient and environmentally friendly technologies in the field of railway transportation.

Furthermore, it underscores the importance of developing intermodal systems and sustainable freight transport methods in the modern world.
