Alexander Kubrakov appointed as the new Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine

On May 20, deputies of the Verkhovna Rada voted for the appointment of Alexander Kubrakov as Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine.
A total of 284 voted in favor of the decision, according to the railway magazine Railway Supply, citing Railinsider. The candidacy of Kubrakov was introduced to parliament by the chairman of the government Denis Shmygal on May 19. To this Kubrakov, namely from November 19, 2019, headed the “Ukravtodor”
On May 18, the Verkhovna Rada dismissed the former Minister of Infrastructure Vladislav Krikliy, who wrote a letter of resignation. The latter has been in this position since August 2019.
