This decision was discussed during the first visit to Ukraine by the United States’ Special Representative for Economic Recovery in Ukraine, Penny Pritzker.
Alexander Kubrakov shared plans for the development of export logistics and transportation.
“We need to modernize Ukrainian checkpoints, ports, and railways. This will improve logistics and increase export capacity. The U.S. plans to allocate nearly $700 million for this purpose,” emphasized the official.
Furthermore, the meeting also addressed demining and the development of the agricultural sector.
“A Joint Working Group has already been established to develop a cooperation model for the implementation of specific projects. I am ready to discuss every cent of American aid and investment. I am confident that accountability and transparency in the processes will motivate the private sector to engage in large-scale recovery efforts,” clarified Alexander Kubrakov.
