This development plays a key role in enhancing connectivity in Dubai, reducing travel time and improving road safety.

Dubai’s Role in Supporting National Railway Network

The flyover is part of Dubai’s strategy to enhance the national railway network. By allowing trains to pass through the median strip of Al Yalayis Street, it ensures smooth traffic movement without interference. This initiative ensures both trains and vehicles can operate at the same level while maintaining safe and efficient travel.

Dubai’s Future Plans for Road and Rail Integration

Looking ahead, Dubai plans to extend the flyover towards the Jumeirah Golf Estates. The expansion will include a two-lane road in each direction, further improving traffic flow and strengthening connectivity. This step is part of Dubai’s ongoing commitment to sustainable infrastructure development.

By facilitating both vehicle and train movement, the flyover aligns with the UAE’s broader vision of improving connectivity, supporting economic growth, and ensuring smooth travel across the nation.
