Developing the Port of Kuryk: AD Ports Group’s Strategic Investment in Kazakhstan

AD Ports Group plans to invest $201 million in developing the port of Kuryk in Kazakhstan, aiming to strengthen economic ties with the United Arab Emirates. This was reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.
This project focuses on constructing a new terminal in the strategically vital region.

Semurg Invest launched the “Sarja” project, which includes a grain terminal with a capacity of 1 million tons. Additionally, an oil terminal will handle up to 4.5 million tons annually.
The universal terminal, designed for diverse cargo, will manage up to 2.9 million tons each year. This plan will increase trade turnover and significantly improve regional infrastructure.
The project is scheduled for completion in 2027, with aims to attract major international investors to Kazakhstan. AD Ports Group’s dedicated investment in this venture emphasizes the importance of developing the port and expanding Kazakhstan’s logistics potential.
The new terminal will integrate Kuryk into an international transport network, opening new economic opportunities for Kazakhstan and other Central Asian countries. This initiative will play a vital role in establishing trade routes connecting the East and the West.
