Delivery of electric trains to Hungary

Hungarian carrier MAV-Start has increased the announced summer request for electric trains from 80 to 95, according to Rail Business, this is reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.
This decision is linked to the anticipated expansion of routes where the new fleet is planned to operate.
Alstom, Stadler, Siemens Mobility, and the Croatian company Koncar, represented by its Hungarian trade partner, submitted applications in response to the previous delivery request.
