DB Schenker Sold to DSV for €14.3 Billion in DB Restructuring

On April 30, 2025, Deutsche Bahn officially completed the sale of its logistics subsidiary DB Schenker to Danish company DSV, after receiving prior approval from regulators in the EU and the US. This is reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.

The deal amounted to €14.3 billion excluding debt liabilities, enabling DB to significantly reduce its debt and refocus on its core rail business.

DSV, strengthening its global position, plans to invest around €1 billion in its German operations over the next 3–5 years.
