Czech Railways is introducing special train tickets for tourists, encouraging exploring the country by rail. This offer is reported by the Railway Supply magazine, citing Raport Kolejowy.

Czech Railways Introduces Tourist Pass

The promotion will run from July 1st to August 31st, with ticket sales starting in a few days.

The holiday ticket for Czech Railways trains is exclusively designed for tourists. Its price will be 1390 Czech crowns (approximately 60 euros) per week. A two-week ticket costs 1990 Czech crowns (approximately 85 euros).

Additionally, discounted prices are prepared for students and pensioners, ranging from 695 to 995 crowns (30-42 euros).

Ticket sales begin on June 15th, allowing unlimited travel on all CD trains. Reservations are required for SC Pendolino trains.

Tourists availing Czech Railways’ offer can also enjoy other attractive promotions such as discounts for festivals, museum tickets, or exhibitions.

Spain is also promoting holiday travel by rail, reducing ticket prices for trains and buses in the summer. Children, teenagers, and students can benefit from discounts.

They will be able to purchase discounted tickets from June 15th to September 15th of this year.
