The state freight carrier Trenes Argentinos Cargas has signed a contract with CRRC for the supply of 180 grain hopper cars, as reported by the railway portal Railway Supply.

Delivery of Grain Hopper Cars

A corresponding tender with an option for an additional 63 cars was announced in June.

The hoppers to be purchased will be identical in design to the cars that CRRC supplied to the country in 2015-2018.
