Construction of a dry port on the border with Hungary and Romania

A logistics hub for grain, sunflower oil, and containers is under construction on the western border of Ukraine. The “dry port” with a capacity of 5,000 tons per day is located near Hungary and Romania, as reported by the railway portal Railway Supply.
This information was provided by the company “AktivProekt,” which is the main designer of this project.
The EBRD funds for railway reconstruction
The terminal was designed using modern 3D tools (BIM), significantly expediting the construction process.
The facility is designed for the storage and handling of grain cargo, oil, and containers, transitioning from the wide Ukrainian gauge to the narrow European gauge.
The complex’s capacity amounts to 5,000 tons of transit per day, 27,000 tons of simultaneous grain storage, 4,000 tons of oil storage, and 500 TEU for container placement.
