The Sinara Transport Machines Plant Remputmash supplied 13 PSS-1K self-propelled snow blowers for the West Siberian Railroad of Russian Railways.

Clearing railway tracks from snow

PSS-1K can remove snow up to 0.8 m deep with a width of 2.4 to 5.3 m and transport 460 m3 or 180 tons of snow for dumping in specially designated areas, reports Railway Supply, citing STM.

In total, 167 PSS-1K units have been built. Since 2013 a number of improvements have been made for more efficient operation.
