Special attention is given to strategically important goods crucial for the country’s economy and population. Coal, with a volume of 1.135 billion tons, plays a pivotal role in this system.

The daily loading capacity has reached an impressive 176.6 thousand wagons.

Significant growth is also observed in international transportation, including the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor, connecting China’s southern ports with the country’s interior.

The length and weight of trains are increasing, leading to more efficient processing at border stations.

International transportation services are improving, contributing to the growth in cargo volumes.

In the third quarter of 2023, 24 new freight transportation services were launched, including cargo transportation in adapted high-speed passenger trains and the use of wider containers with a capacity of 35 tons, specially designed for rail-sea transportation.

China continues to actively develop its railway infrastructure, which enhances the volume of cargo transportation and strengthens its role in global logistics.
