The Budapest public transport operator BKK plans to announce a tender for the supply of up to 110 low-floor trams of various sections, this is reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.

The first units are expected to be delivered in 2029.

Currently, the main supplier of trams to the city is the Spanish company CAF.

The company has contracts for the supply of up to 124 Urbos trams.
